Calipsa’s false alarm filtering platform separates alarms into two categories based on whether human activity is present within the footage. If there is human activity, the alarm is marked as ​“True” and passed to the operator for verification. If it is identified as ​“False”, the alarm will be dismissed.

A ​‘true’ alarm is when Calipsa detects a moving person or vehicle. A ​‘false’ alarm is when Calipsa does not detect any human or vehicle motion, including animal movement, lighting changes, shadows, foliage in the wind, etc.
